Getting to Know Us — You Already Do!

Population Health Futures LLC builds upon the mission and goals that guided the development of the Center for Public Health Practice at the Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University over the past decade. The work that we have done, the experience we have gained and the multi-sectoral relationships that we have developed make us what we are today— people who can translate theory into practice for improvement in the public’s health!

Our Mission

Our Mission is to improve the performance of preventive health systems by accelerating the translation and application of theory to practice.

Our mission will be achieved through the integration of traditional and non-traditional public health disciplines, and the development of multisector partnerships, and collaborations

Our Work

  • Is defined by the values of the current paradigm of public health, where health is broadly defined as quality of life at both individual and community levels
  • Is driven by a vision of healthier communities through performance of core functions and provision of essential public health services
  • Reflects the thinking of organizational, behavioral, and social theorists as well as futurists and cyberscribes
  • Is validated by public health practitioners at all levels, domestic and international
